A prototype to re-invent a kid spoon for enhancing taste exploration.
Design and development of the prototype: the spoon and its native application (for smartphone or tablet). The prototype uses bluetooth low energy to communicate with the application (I also started to explore ultrasounds to exchange data on lower frequences). The spoon (and especially the action of eating with it) controls animations on the application and aim to turn taste discovery for young kids into a game.
Technologies used: Arduino (using the LightBlue Been model from Punch Through design), 3D printing for the spoon body, and native Android development for the application.
